In the Islam room of the Louvre museum in Paris, eastern works are exhibited in a sober fashion. The Lumco lamps that illuminate the collection dissipate an agreeable warm light. The room is in the form of a rectangular corridor and has a white ceiling that is in part lit continuously and in part by cove lighting. Overall, this creates very agreeable lighting comfort for the numerous visitors.
